Phx Am weekend 2015

For the last few years I've been lucky enough to find out when Phx am is and catch it on my computer. I remember watching the contest in my bedroom wishing and promising myself that one day I'd be in Arizona for it. This was the year. Just imagine getting to do fun things with friends you haven't seen for a while, new friends, and friends that you constantly hang out with already. Combine all those friends with great activities like skate contests, dance parties, a video premiere, a photo show, hardcore shows, eating crummy food, going to bed late, waking up early and skating until you couldn't skate anymore and what you end up with, is this weekend. I had such a blast! While part of me wishes it would never end, another part of me really needs a nap. In fact, I'm laying in bed typing this, on the verge of falling asleep.

Friday: Golden Hour. Legend City Studios
On Friday Sean, Mo, Chrissie and I decided it would be fun to take the light rail to Price's Golden Hour show in Phoenix. It was an experience to say the least. It was my first time taking the light rail and unless I really have to take it again, I probably won't.

Max and Sean. Can you guess what movie this scene is from?

Saturday: PHX am: Desert West, Venezia's, Tempe Park, After party/premiere: the pressroom
 Ari!

 "Oh, Robbie! You sly dog!"

"I have chaffed nipples. Shh, say no more."

Colin was blasting frontside airs at Tempe.

Sunday: ditch, watch contest finals, skate downtown phoenix, sushi, tempe park
Sunday morning, Josh invited us to skate a ditch with him, Colin, Garritt, Corey, and John. It was hot and Corey managed to half-cab a gab into a ridiculously steep bank. The trick was insane and my arms were on fire. I definitely have some sweet tan lines.

After watching the contest results, we headed to Phoenix to skate with Tim, John, and Zach. Unfortunately, I was paying more attention to the cracks in the pavement, praying that I didn't fall and didn't get the chance to take many pictures. I had a blast though, trust me.

This little guy has many gems from this weekend. I can't wait to develop it!

The aftermath.
I'm exhausted. I have homework and other things to do, but that will all have to wait until Monday. I loved this weekend.

Note: This was posted on Monday because I ended up falling asleep Sunday night.
