Musical Mondays

Remember how last week I was a day late? Well not this time! This week, for your listening pleasure, I have for you a song by The Tallest Man on Earth called Revelation Blues. Easy listening so you can day dream on this beautiful Monday morning. (or afternoon. I don't know. I half expect you to be clicking the refresh button on your browser, just waiting for me to update on Mondays.)
"Sometimes roses die too young." That's why, when I have a boyfriend or husband, I want him to bring me pizza. Pizza doesn't die. It might get old or stale but nuke it in the microwave for a few seconds and you have a perfectly acceptable slice of pizza. Or some coffee. Or just a cutesy poopsy handwritten note. Yeah, that'd be nice too. Okay here ya go. Enjoy:

Someone keeps +1ing my posts...I don't know who you are, but thanks?

Tonight. Was. Amazing.

So remember how I said I wanted to go see AJJ play? Welp, I went and saw Andrew Jackson Jihad play at Backbooth tonight! Let me just say that this was the best show I've ever been to! I've been to good ones, but this one was just really really fun. I was super indecisive the whole day about whether or not I wanted to actually go so I waited til the very last minute to try and buy my ticket. Little did I know, they stop selling the tickets online a couple hours before the show begins. I got ready as fast as I could and headed out there to see if they would be selling them at the door. They were and weren't sold out yet! I was stoked and ended up having an amazing time. (My mom had a blast, too. At one point she said, "This is real life." Which, when you think about how english isn't her first language, translates to, "Is this real life?" Yes, mom. Yes, it is. ) My arm already has a bruise from when I got moshed into a wall. Fortunately, there was a bigger dude there with his girlfriend who was about my height and as he protected her from getting squashed, he also protected me. So here are...A couple photos... I tried putting up a video but it won't let me!

So yeah, if you ever get the chance you should go see one of their shows. With your mom.  (They're mom approved. Can I say 'mom' one more time? MOM.)

Snap Me Saturdays!

NEW! NEW! NEW!

Sometimes I get funny snapchats (which I of course screenshot) or pictures from friends, ya know via text and what not. Saturdays, I'm dumping 'em here. So get ready and enjoy! AND send me stuff!!

 I'm sure you did, Pat.

 Mexico swag? From Paula.

Cassie/pizza selfie from a while back.

Laila sent this one. This log was seriously bug infested. Huge ant like bugs crawling all over the place! Such a fun time exploring though.

 Cheetos anyone? from Paula.

Paula sent this. What a jerk.

Sent to me by Chase. I met this really nice dude at Tempe park.

Collin from Logan. I miss these dudes so much. I can't wait to see them.

This made me miss camp more than I can express in words. This was my first summer at camp and I was standing somewhere on the sidelines thinking about doing the death race. After I saw Kryger almost die, I decided not to. I don't think it's called the death race anymore..I also don't think anyone ever got pulled back that far again. I could be wrong. I've just never seen it done again. Then again, for the last two summers I missed almost every single skate activity..

Endless Love

Have you heard or seen previews of the movie Endless Love? The preview that makes you think it's some type of horror movie...

Well I can now tell you, after watching it, that it's not. It's actually a great movie. I laughed. I cried. A bunch. It's funny how a video that's just shy of two hours can make you bawl like a baby and give you that butterfly feeling you get when you first meet a boy and make you relive the whole experience and in the end make you feel happy but sad at the same time...I think I might have been in love once. And by 'think,' I mean 'know.' And time and distance...pshh! They don't heal anything. So whoever said that was totally wrong. Because whenever you think you're done thinking about so and so, some dumb song comes on and that's the first person you think about. And whenever you flip the the channels some dumb commercial comes on and BAM! there you are again; just thinking about that one person you're trying to forget. But no matter how much you try and want to forget, you can't. Because at the end of the day you still wonder what they're doing and hope that they're okay.
It's all funny and confusing. Life is funny and confusing. Or maybe just weird. We're only here for so long and in that time we're kinda expected to find the one person that we want to be with for the rest of our existence. I guess a hundred years could be considered a long time but in the scheme of things, it's actually super short. And I mean I guess you could be with more than one person at a time, but you'd have to check with the first person you were with and see if they're okay with it. (I'm just helping you out so you don't run into any hiccups)
This is such a weird post. I'm high. Just kidding! I don't do that. But if I did this probably would've still sounded the same. Because that's what love does. It makes you say things that make absolutely no sense to anyone even yourself.

Happy Belated Musical Monday

So I didn't do Musical Monday yesterday, but I have a great excuse! I was busy. And then when I wasn't I was just so tired. Pitty me. I kid. But here it is! Sorry to all my loyal followers who thought it would be up and kept checking for my musical selection.

Anyway..this week's selection is Kokopelli Face Tattoo by Andrew Jackson Jihad. These dudes are playing this weekend here in Orlando. I was really planning on going. With my mom. But I'm still thinking about it. Don't get me wrong, I KNOW it'll be a great show but at the same time...finances. Such a lame excuse to not go to a show! I might just say "fuck it" and go and just not spend those three bucks on coffee for a few days...drink homemade coffee.

The first time I heard this song, I played it 10 times in a row, give or take. It's just that good. Great song. Great band. And I'm thinking great show. If you live in Florida, come see it with my mom and me this weekend. You won't regret it. You can meet my mom.

More Arizona

I have so many pictures on my phone that I just keep looking at but don't know what to do with. So this is what I'm going to do. Every once in a while I'll post them on here. It'll be like my way of saying I'm excited for Arizona, without having to say I'm excited.
This was my second day in Arizona. Lux coffee shop in Phoenix.

I'd only known Chrissie for about half a day at this point.

 Miss ya, Pops!

 Roof hangs

The first all white Jamaican bobsled team for worms.

 Roof read.

 Roof view

Cinco de Mayo was pretty great

 Best morning cuddler

 Lost Dutchman dinner

Roof tans. Ignore my face, look at Chase's.

Buddies!!

Oak Creek hike. About a week ago, there was a huge fire up in these mountains. It's sad to think that so much of this gorgeous view is damaged. It's even sadder to think that this was probably caused by people.

Take me back! I didn't notice the butterfly up there until now.
